The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, Festus Alenkhe, has been honoured with a prestigious Doctoral Fellowship award by the Institute of Public Sector Management (IPSM), United Kingdom.

The award ceremony, held in London, United Kingdom, was a behive of activities as the institution has been known for its steadfastness in noting People’s outstanding contributions and outstanding performances in their field of endeavour.

The President, IPSM United Kingdom, Dr. Samantha Radford while presenting the award, eulogies the sterling qualities of Festus Alenkhe, citing his consistency, commitment to duty, display of knowledge and expertise in management of public sector professionals, Dr. Radford added that the Institution has found Alenkhe worthy through his outstanding contributions to journalism and public sector development, describing him as a seasoned professional with an admirable drive to achieve notable developmental goals.

Dr. Lanre Sharafa who highlighted Dr. Alenkhe’s remarkable impact on the public sector, said the Institute carefully monitors people’s activities and progresses over time before they are acknowledged with the award.
Dr. Festus Alenkhe expressed gratitude to God almighty for giving him the enablement to achieve this feat, attributing the success to his passion for making a meaningful impact on humanity.
